Pictures in this collection were taken by DSCOVR spacecraft on the day of September 23rd, 2018 around 02:24 UTC, about half an hour after the September Equinox which was at 01:54 on September 23rd this year. Distance from Earth to the spacecraft was 1,446,400 kilometres (898,648 miles), and SEV (Sun-Earth-vehicle) angle was 8.07 degrees which mean the spacecraft was about 205,081 kilometres (127,417 miles) away from the straight line from Earth to Sun, so the left edge of the Earth is slightly blurry. Since it was very close to the September Equinox, both north and south poles can be seen just about the same amount.
